Community Research Partner

Margherita Gagliardi is an Advocacy Officer at the office of the Manitoba Advocate for Children and Youth (MACY). Her current role at MACY includes working with and on behalf of young people to address service concerns, to ensure public systems are responsive, and to promote their rights and best interests. Margherita had previously been an investigator  with the Investigations and Child Death Review program at MACY.  Prior to MACY, Margherita worked in the child maltreatment, abuse investigations, disabilities, and education domains. With over 20 years of experience, Margherita continues her commitment to strengthen communities and systems for children, youth, and their families.
