Laurie Préfontaine-Tremblay, BA

Laurie Préfontaine-Tremblay is a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology (Research and Intervention) at the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR), under the supervision of Dr. Jacinthe Dion. Her doctoral research examines how trajectories of bullying and cyberbullying victimization during adolescence shape sexual well-being and intimate partner violence in emerging adulthood. Prior to her doctoral studies, Laurie worked in community, child protection, and domestic violence settings, supporting children, adolescents, women, and families affected by adversity. Her research interests include child and adolescent development, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), interpersonal violence, trauma, sexual well-being, and the prevention of violence among children, adolescents, and young adults.
