Cohort 3

Gurlaj holds a Master of Science in Community and Global Health (2026) and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (2022) both from the University of Manitoba. Her MSc project examined child maltreatment and poor sleep outcomes among Canadian adolescents. Gurlaj is a quantitative researcher where her focuses include child maltreatment and child health outcomes with a focus on intervention, prevention, and resilience. She is particularly interested in identifying protective factors that contribute to better outcomes following experiences of child maltreatment.
