Community Research Partner

David Lindenbach, PhD is a Senior Research Scientist at the Pathways to Prevention Centre at Hull Services in Calgary. He is also an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at University of Calgary. Dr. Lindenbach is leading the development of a new research centre at Hull Services that focuses on improving the response to developmental trauma. His work brings together academic researchers and community practitioners to perform rigorous applied research in real-world settings. He strongly believes in collaborative and transdisciplinary approaches to research. David’s current areas of focus include: adapting transdiagnostic interventions for youth involved with the child welfare system, evaluating the impact of therapeutic recreation programs, and supporting the wellness of the child welfare workforce.
