Community Research Partner

Annie holds a masters degree from Harvard and a PhD from Sheffield Hallam University. She is an adjunct professor in the School of Nursing at the University of British Columbia and has been the Executive Director of the McCreary Centre Society since 2006. Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, the Society is a non-profit organisation committed to improving the health of youth through community-based research, evaluation and youth participation projects. The Society is best know for the population-level BC Adolescent Health Survey, as well as for it’s work with young people, such as through the Youth Research Academy  and Young Indigenous Research Team.
