Amanda Keller, PhD
Amanda Keller is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Université de Montréal and a recent PhD graduate of McGill University’s School of Social Work. A Vanier Scholar with a background in frontline practice, her research brings together multidisciplinary, mixed-method, and community-engaged approaches to explore the holistic and life-course well-being of adults with care experience, with a particular interest in documenting the needs of those who age out of congregate care. She co-founded CARE Jeunesse, a grassroots peer support initiative for alumni of foster care in Quebec. Before entering academia, she spent ten years working with youth and young adults in Montreal as a homeless youth outreach worker and case manager, supporting those navigating trauma and addictions. She joined the CARE RTP lab in Fall 2024.
