Cohort 2

Alexa Nordine is a second-year master’s student in Clinical Psychology at the University of Waterloo working under Dr. Tara McAuley. Alexa graduated with her bachelor’s degree in psychology from McGill University in 2022 before moving to Penn State University where she worked as a project coordinator in Dr. Erika Lunkenheimer’s Parent-Child Dynamics Lab. Alexa’s research focuses on the impacts of early adversity on the development of cognitive skills and self-regulatory abilities.
