Naomi Abrahams is a Ph.D. candidate and part-time professor in the School of Social Work at the University of Ottawa. Her doctoral research examines how family justice professionals involved in child custody and access cases understand, acknowledge, and incorporate children’s views and preferences into their practice. She is a member of the Feminist Anti-Violence Research Collective (FemAnVi). Her primary research interests include children’s rights, domestic violence, and the family court system, with a broader interest in participatory action research and community-engaged research.
