Deena Benson is a Master’s prepared registered Social Worker who has been working primarily in the areas of addiction recovery, family reunification, and family adaptation over the last 20 years. She has spent the last 11 years with the family programs at Ranch Ehrlo Society as a Family Preservation Therapist and now a Clinical Manager. Deena is particularly passionate about creative interventions and continues her education in that area, including Healing Trauma and Grief through Nature and Restorative Attachment™; Expressive Arts for Regulation through Relationships and Healing Trauma through Guided Drawing. As the manager overseeing programming in the Family Centered Addictions Program, she has had the pleasure of observing the wonderful impact music therapy has had on family relationships an overall healing and is excited to contribute to further research in this area.
