Dr. Megan Cooney, a child maltreatment paediatrician at the Child Protection Centre at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre, was featured on the Canadian Medical Association Journal (CMAJ) podcast! Dr. Cooney recently co-authored an article with cohort-1 student Hannah McDowell, Dr. Suzanne Robinson, and the co-directors of the RTP, Dr. Tracie Afifi and Dr. Ashley Stewart-Tufescu. The short article highlights five things to know about sentinel injuries and indicators of child physical abuse.
