Juliana Khoury, MSc
Juliana completed a Bachelor of Humanities (Hons) with a Minor in Political Science at Carleton University and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Psychology with a Special Concentration in Forensic Psychology at St. Francis Xavier University. She is now a doctoral student in clinical psychology at the University of Regina. Her research focuses primarily on mental health among public safety personnel, with a focus on the impacts of sexual violence, gender inequity, and organizational culture. Her dissertation, under the supervision of Dr. Nick Carleton, will investigate Canadian police perceptions of legislation concerning civilian assaults on police. Juliana’s clinical interests include work with correctional populations, particularly adolescent and young offenders; trauma; and assessment.
